Outback Power Hybrid FXR-3048A-01 Inverter & Charger 

The OutBack Power FXR series inverters represent an enhanced iteration of the well-established FX series. Ideal for off-grid applications, the 24 VDC and 48 VDC inverters can also be integrated into grid-tied systems. These inverters boast expanded voltage ranges to accommodate advanced-technology batteries and incorporate advanced OutBack features such as Grid Zero and Offset modes.

The ventilated OutBack Power VFXR inverters deliver increased power in high ambient-temperature environments and enhanced throughput for generator-powered battery charging. Conversely, the sealed, externally fan-cooled FXR is specifically designed for use in coastal or dusty surroundings.

Each inverter/charger serves as a multi-mode power conversion unit, comprising an inverter, battery charger, and AC transfer switch. Stacking capabilities include up to ten inverters in parallel (120 VAC), eight inverters in a series configuration (120/240 VAC), and nine inverters for three-phase (120/208 VAC WYE) configurations. The 50 Hz export inverters can be stacked up to ten in parallel (230 VAC), with nine inverters allowed in a three-phase configuration (230/400 VAC WYE). It's important to note that when stacking, all inverters must be of the same model, and the use of X-240 and similar transformers is not applicable to FXR inverters. Due to added control features, deploying FXR series inverters is recommended with the MATE3s controller (or AXS Port) and the Hub10.3, ensuring compatibility with OpticsRE.

VFXR inverters feature a programmable auxiliary relay output connection (AUX) providing 12 VDC output for various purposes, such as running cooling or ventilation fans. Sealed FXR inverters utilize this relay to power the external cooling fan and are unavailable for other uses.

The internal transfer switch has a 60 A rating. When an external AC power source is detected at the AC in terminal, the switch transfers loads to the external power source and activates the battery charger accordingly. An RTS remote temperature sensor and other accessories are available for use.

These inverters, with the "-01" version, adhere to UL1741 SA (Supplement A) specifications for Grid Support Utility Interactive Inverters. Additionally, 12V inverters are listed to UL1741.
